Cookies
We use as few as we can.

What this page covers
Cookies are small files a site stores in your browser. The same rules apply to similar technology that stores or reads information on your device (regulation 5 of S.L. 586.01, Laws of Malta).
What we use
| Name | Type | Purpose | Lasts | Consent |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| JSESSIONID | Strictly necessary, first party | Keeps you signed in and protects forms against forged requests | Ends after 30 minutes without activity, or when the browser closes | Not needed |
| amano_consent | Strictly necessary, first party | Remembers your cookie choice. Only used if analytics is turned on. | 6 months | Not needed |
| Bot check | Strictly necessary, third party (our security provider) | Tells people from bots on sign-up, reviews, and when revealing contact details or the bank details for contributions. For contact and bank details it loads only after you press the button. It may set a short-lived security cookie inside its own frame. | For the check only | Not needed: strictly necessary to protect a service you explicitly asked for (regulation 5(2) of S.L. 586.01) |
What we don’t use
No advertising, profiling or social media cookies, and no local storage or session storage. Fonts and images come from our own domains.
“Use my location” is a browser permission, not a cookie. It is asked only when you press the button, and you can withdraw it in your browser’s settings.
Your choice
Only strictly necessary technology is in use, which does not need consent, so there is nothing to choose and no banner.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser. Blocking the session cookie stops sign-in and forms from working.
